Child Rescued from Hot Car in Pattaya City after Being Trapped Inside for Extended Period of Time

A young child was rescued from a hot car in Pattaya City on April 4, 2023, after being trapped inside for an extended period of time. According to reports from Sawang Boriboon Rescue Radio Center, the child’s father had parked the Mazda sedan outside a laundromat and left his 2-year-old son inside the car while he went inside.

However, when he returned, he found that the car had automatically locked and his son was trapped inside. The child’s father quickly called for help, and the rescuers from Sawang Boriboon Rescue Radio Center arrived on the scene promptly to assist.

Upon arriving at the scene, the officers found the child’s father anxiously waiting outside the parked car. They quickly coordinated with the car’s staff to cut the equipment and gain access to the vehicle. The rescuers then rushed to check inside the car and found the young boy stuck on the left side of the driver’s seat. With great urgency, they were able to successfully free the child in just three minutes.

Following the rescue, the authorities issued a warning to parents and caregivers to be extra cautious during the hot summer months. They urged people to thoroughly inspect their cars before leaving them and to never leave children unattended in a vehicle. The hot temperatures inside a parked car can quickly become dangerous and potentially fatal for young children.

The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of being vigilant and taking the necessary precautions to ensure the safety of young children, especially during the hot summer months.
