On the afternoon of April 8, 2023, a heavy rainstorm hit the Bowin Subdistrict in Si Racha District, Chonburi Province, resulting in severe flooding and property damage. According to reports, the rainfall caused water to overflow and flood in front of the Bo Win fresh market, before spilling into nearby shops and residential areas along Route 331.
The storm also caused several trees to fall over homes in the vicinity of Village No. 5, Village No. 6 and Village No. 8, Tambon Bowin. In response, Mr. Anon Supaporn, Village Headman of Village 6, quickly mobilized a working group to survey the damage in the area.
