On May 1, 2023, reporters visited Laem Bali Hai Pier in the Bang Lamung District of Chonburi Province to capture the atmosphere of Labor Day. They discovered a significant number of both Thai and foreign tourists flocking to Koh Larn. The speedboat boarding point from Pattaya to Koh Larn was bustling, with most foreign tourists travelling in family or group tours, while most Thai tourists traveled with family and friends. The tourists had a common goal of wanting to relax during the holidays and explore the beauty of Koh Larn. The Marine Department, Pattaya Office, strictly enforced the use of life jackets to ensure safety for the tourists while travelling to Koh Larn.
Reporters also visited the Sattahip District in Chonburi Province and observed that the three-day Labor Day holiday resulted in thousands of tourists from all regions of the country travelling to relax and enjoy the natural scenery and sea. The Nang Ram beach area and the Naval care area in Samae San Subdistrict were particularly crowded, leading to heavy traffic on the road leading to Nang Ram Beach and the Chuk Samet Pier, causing traffic jams that stretched for several kilometers.
